For women who surrendered their Only child/ren to adoption and had no others.

We have all reunited with our grown children, and are in different stages of reunion. Not all of our reunions are good ones, and even the good ones have ups and downs. We are here, not only to gain support and understanding, but to give it as well, by sharing our own experiences and feelings.

• This is a working support group dedicated to sorting out our feelings surrounded the loss of our only child/ren to adoption and how we cope with that loss in our daily lives.
  
  
• We draw strength from one another while forming new online friendships. Networking with the group, and each other. Contributing articles and all matters of interest in the adoption arena are encouraged.
  
  
• Offering live chats, impromptu get togethers, and a planned retreat on Mothers Day Weekend in May.
  
  
• Come to a private discussion forum with others who have traveled this path and meet some of the bravest women ever.
  
  
  

Mission

Bringing women together from all walks of life in friendship and support who are navigating their way around reunion and learning to live with the pain of surrendering their only child/ren to adoption.

Mandate

Required postings by all members as a working support group to discuss our issues. We strongly discourage lurking and have a 30 day policy for new members. If we can't discuss our own issues we offer a soft shoulder to others that need our support.

Having surrendered my only son to adoption in 1964, I was inspired to start a group for women like myself who needed to know that we didn't go on "as if" nothing happened. He is my one and only, and I will never have another.
